The Kennel Shop opened its first Pet Super Store in 1985 in Augusta, Maine. The retail store was a natural progression of the premium pet foods and specialty pet products distribution business started seven years before. While the corporate office and warehouse is still in Augusta, the company has grown to eight locations – Augusta, Portland, North Windham, Lewiston, Saco, Sanford, So. Portland and our newest location in Scarborough next to the new Cabela’s – and employs over 90 people.
